Families for Responsible Development (FFRD) dedicate themselves to the thoughtful and collaborative neighborhood and business development of Pocatello. As an organization of concerned citizens, FFRD seeks to use the city's comprehensive plan, "Our Valley, Our Vision", to develop Pocatello's economy in ways that:

• Reduce the contamination of the valley's air and water
• Make assets of our attractive natural and historic resources
• Form and improve great neighborhoods that will draw national attention, and enhance the quality of life of all city residents
  
  

  Pocatello’s 2003 Comprehensive Plan for Responsible Development emerged from an impressive process of popular participation, and FFRD campaigns for a continued citizen voice in the government's shaping of land-use and construction decisions in order to implement the vision and goals of "Our Valley, Our Vision."
